Philosophy I Design I Planning I Pipes I Woodwork I Voicing

The wood we use to build our organs is carefully selected, and is seasoned for years using traditional methods. Solid oak is used to make the chest, the consoles, the pedals and the rackboard. The keyboard levers are made from selected fir wood, and they rest on reinforced beech-wood frames. The diatonic keys are generally lined with Italian boxwood, while the chromatic keys are made of ebony. The chest and the load-bearing structures are made exclusively from solid wood, with no ply woods or metal profiles employed, in order to guarantee a perfect harmonious blend of acoustic parts and organ structure.
