Our company has been dealing with the restoration of historical organs for over 30 years and has lived through all methodological changes of the restoration; from the initial attempts of philological restoration to the consolidation of scientific criteria which, in time, have become of always greater quality. While during the 70’s the restoration process was limited to the acknowledgement of the state of being of the hand-made piece, leaving all intervention to the functional restoration of the same, these criteria have been later modified; today, the restoration of an antique organ is a very complex operation. The approach to the restoration process is of much greater depth and considers every little detail of the hand-made piece during the survey, disassembly and restoration.
